Abstract
⺠High levels of milkweed co-products are generated from producing comforters/pillows. ⺠Both co-products (seed meal /pod biomass) contain potential health promoting lipids. ⺠Seed meal is particularly high in sterols, vitamin E, and fatty acids. ⺠Omega 7 fatty acids, vaccenic and palmitoleic, are present in both co-products.
