Abstract
⺠Quercetin, ferulic acid and their derivatives showed great prooxidant activity in DNA cleavage system. ⺠The balance between antioxidant and prooxidant activity for tested phenolics is delicate. ⺠The quantitative structure-activity relationship for tested phenolics is elucidated.
