Abstract
⺠Concurrent administration of ethanol and durian elicits DER-like interactions in vivo. ⺠Upon ethanol challenge, rats given durian and cabbage exhibited similar unpleasant clinical manifestations not seen in control groups. ⺠CTA and hypothermia in rats given durian/cabbage support the central role of acetaldehyde on the severity of the DER.
