Abstract
												⺠Red wine flavonols inhibit the proliferation of colorectal adenocarcinoma cells. ⺠This was mediated by their actions on the cell cycle and related signalling pathways. ⺠Explains the inverse correlation between colon cancer and a moderate red wine intake.
