Abstract
⺠Marama protein contains a substantial amount of tyrosine compared to soya protein. ⺠The vicilin (7S) and acidic (11S) subunits seem to be absent in marama protein. ⺠A basic (11S) protein and two higher molecular proteins are present in marama. ⺠pI of most polypeptides in marama protein is in the range of 6-10.
