Abstract
► Previously published lupine ELISAs suffered from some cross-reactivity. ► The present ELISA is specific for lupine, no cross-reactivity with 34 plant species. ► Detection of proteins from white and blue and to a lower extent from yellow lupine. ► Protein extraction could significantly be shortened to 2 min.
