Abstract
												⺠For the first time, MALDI-MSI method was developed for detection and spatial distribution of glycoalkaloids. ⺠The uniform matrix coating method was effective for MALDI-MSI analysis. ⺠Matrix 2,5-DHB was more suitable than 2,4,6-THAP for analysis of glycoalkaloids. ⺠Relative amounts of glycoalkaloids were directly compared in various parts of potato tuber using MALDI-MSI.
