Abstract
► Bacillus subtilis fermented red bean with fibrinolytic activity was prepared. ► The purified fibrinolytic enzyme was a subtilisin-like serine protease with 29.93 kDa. ► This enzyme showed amidolytic activity for the hydrolysis of several synthetic substrates.
