Abstract
⺠Isoeugenol was measured in fish flesh, plasma and seawater using fluorometry. ⺠Isoeugenol was absorbed linearly into edible tissues during 30 min exposure. ⺠Tissue isoeugenol concentrations reached a maximum of 134.38 μmol kgâ1. ⺠Recovery was modelled by exponential decay reducing to 7.89 μmol kgâ1 after 7 h. ⺠Fillet isoeugenol concentrations reduced at â6.51 μmol kgâ1 dayâ1 during storage at 3.87 °C.
