Abstract
► Develop a method based on DNA barcode combined with High Resolution Melting analysis (Bar-HRM). ► We have set up the Bar-HRM protocol for PDO Fava Santorinis traceability. ► Detect the presence of adulteration in Fava Santorinis commercial products. ► We conclude that Bar-HRM is a sensitive, low cost method for traceability.
