Abstract
⺠A rapid HPLC post-column reaction assay methodology was developed for quantification of ergothioneine. ⺠The sensitivity and reproducibility of the method was similar to that of ESI mass spectrometry. ⺠The method is applicable for the quantitative analyses of ergothioneine in biological samples.
