Abstract
► In Caco2 cells, proanthocyanidins only decrease triglyceride secretion in fasted sate. ► They repress ACSL3 and ACSL5 in fasting state but only ACSL5 in a post-prandial state. ► ACSLs control the fate of fatty acids for triglyceride synthesis in intestinal cells. ► Feeding state could be a key factor for proanthocyanidin effectiveness on triglyceride.
