Abstract

âº High percentage of oxygenated monoterpenes & sesquiterpenes in Kashmir Cymbopogon Jawarancusa oil. âº Strong cytotoxicity, of oil against different human cancer cell lines. âº Oil and its components moderately antioxidant in nature. âº Cytotoxicity of oil due to both monoterpenes and sesquiterpenes. âº Essential oil more potent cytotoxic agent than the individual constituents of oil.
