Abstract
⺠The conventional liposomes were sufficiently entrapped by CMCS layer. ⺠CMCS layer could stabilize the integrity of phospholipid bilayer during spray-drying. ⺠The coating mechanism was due to H-bonding interactions. ⺠CM-PL exhibited higher stability than aqueous liposomes. ⺠The sustained release property of CSO from rehydrated CM-PL was also obtained.
