Abstract
► A flavonoid-rich fraction from the ethanol extracts of adlay bran exhibited anti-inflammatory effect. ► Fifteen flavonoids including four polymethoxyflavones and a novel auronol were isolated from the active fraction. ► LC/MS was also established as an analytical platform. ► Major flavonoids inhibited LPS-induced NO production in RAW 264.7 cells.
