Abstract
⺠Rosmarinic acid and luteolin 7-O-glucoside are the major compounds identified. ⺠Extract exhibited strong antioxidant activity through different mechanisms. ⺠Prevention of Fe2+-induced lipid peroxidation in mouse brains was observed. ⺠The inhibition of cholinesterases activities was demonstrated in vitro and in vivo.
