Abstract
⺠Oxathiolanone derivative of rutin can be produced in the stomach. ⺠Oxathiolanone derivative of rutin can be hydrolysed in the small intestine. ⺠Oxathiolanone derivative of quercetin inhibited xanthine oxidase activity. ⺠The inhibitory activity was higher than quercetin.
