Abstract
► The potential of 1-Mcp for controlling ripening in blueberry fruit was explored. ► Blueberries treated with 1-MCP showed a reduced weight loss during storage. ► 1-MCP had no significant effect on anthocyanin, phenolic and antioxidant activities.
