Abstract
⺠We investigate the composition of Cissus populnea stem (CPS) flour. ⺠CPS is rich in carbohydrate and protein with abundant levels of K, Ca, Mg and P. ⺠Trypsin inhibitor, oxalate and other anti-nutrients are below the tolerable limit in vegetables. ⺠CPS is a potential food source and exploitable as commercial gum.
