Abstract
⺠Leafy green Brassicas were separated into top- and bottom-canopy leaves. ⺠Leaves were assayed for vitamins C, B9, K1, and β-carotene (provitamin A) and lutein. ⺠Vitamins C, B9, and lutein concentrations were significantly higher in younger versus older leaves. ⺠Leafy green Brassicas are nutritionally dense in vitamins C, B9, K, provitamin A and lutein.
