Abstract
► H-ORAC values of common vegetables and fruits in Japan were measured. ► Averaged H-ORAC value of 23 vegetables investigated was 6.95 μmol TE/g. ► Averaged H-ORAC vale of 13 fruits investigated was 12.23 μmol TE/g. ► Estimated intake of hydrophilic antioxidants from these foods was 4423 μmol TE/d.
