Abstract
⺠Unusual combination of papaya glucosinolates + cyanogenic glycosides were reviewed. ⺠Both originate from same amino acid and synthesised via initially similar pathway. ⺠Glucosinolates are precusors to the human chemoprotective isothiocyanates. ⺠Cyanogenic glycosides potentially detrimental to human health.
