► Epoxycarotenoids violaxanthin + neoxanthin were ca. 10% of daily carotenoid intake. ► Phytoene and phytofluene constituted ca. 16% of total daily carotenoid intake. ► Carotenoid intake in Luxembourg was comparable to other European countries.
