Abstract
⺠Some mushrooms showed HMGCR inhibitory activity. ⺠Lentinula edodes and Pleurotus ostreatus water extracts showed high inhibitory capacities. ⺠The HMGCR inhibitory activity was followed during the cultivation process. ⺠Fractions with high HMGCR inhibitory activity could be obtained by ASE.
