Abstract
⺠We have investigated maternal plasma for new protein markers of down syndrome using proteomics. ⺠C1 plasma inhibitor is increased in the first trimester. ⺠Serum Amyloid P is increased in the second trimester. ⺠Transthyretin shows altered post translational modifications in second trimester DS plasma.
