Abstract
⺠We present one of the first sequenced polychaete transcriptomes. ⺠The transcriptome provided useful genetic baseline data for protein identification. ⺠Atox1 was up-regulated in polychaetes that inhabited a copper-polluted harbour. ⺠Several new targets for biomarker development are presented.
