Abstract
► The antennal proteome of honeybee drone, worker and queen was compared. ► 54, 21, and 32 proteins were upregulated in the drone, worker and queen, respectively. ► Drone antennae expressed proteins aiding to perceive queen sexual pheromones. ► Worker expressed proteins that assist in food search and social communications. ► Queen expressed proteins used for producing communication pheromone.
