Abstract
⺠The venom proteome of Bothrops jararaca undergoes a significant ontogenetic shift. ⺠The proteome and glycosylation levels of newborn and adult venoms are different. ⺠We analyzed the N-glycome of newborn and adult venom proteins by several pathways of MS. ⺠The N-glycan composition of newborn and adult venoms did not vary significantly. ⺠We hypothesized that the occupancy of glycosylation sites differs in newborn and adult venom proteins.
