Abstract
⺠Thermobifida fusca is a thermophilic cellulose degrading bacterium useful in bioenergy sector. ⺠This report highlights the protein expression involved in cellular processes during cellulose utilization. ⺠The data could be useful for metabolic pathway manipulation to enhance cellulose degradation potential. ⺠Proteins involved in central metabolism of sugars and amino acids were induced during cellulose degradation. ⺠Of 30 identified ribosomal proteins, 29 were up-regulated during cellulose hydrolysis.
