Abstract
⺠GelMap is a software tool for building and evaluation of protein reference maps. ⺠GelMap offers variable frames to group and filter proteins according to functional categories. ⺠A pop-up window displays spot specific characteristics including links to databases. ⺠The capacity of GelMap is illustrated by two proteome projects. ⺠GelMap is freely available (www.gelmap.de) and easy to handle.
