Abstract
⺠The nuclear proteome of the desiccation tolerant plant Xerophyta viscosa was investigated in response to dehydration. ⺠122 nuclear proteins were identified of which 22% were over-abundant in response to dehydration. ⺠Nuclear proteins involved gene regulation, trafficking, cellular reorganization, metabolism and other cellular processes.
