Abstract
⺠Monoclonal antibody to keratin 18 recognizes keratin 13. ⺠Only antibody based techniques can mislead interpretation unless they are validated with other techniques like mass-spectrometry. ⺠This study emphasizes the necessity to verify the antigen recognized by the antibody by mass spectrometry.
