Comparative proteomic analysis of four Bacillus clausii strains: Proteomic expression signature distinguishes protein profile of the strains

► Proteomic analysis has been performed to compare the proteins expression pattern of four isogenic B. clausii probiotic strains. ► Alcohol dehydrogenase, aldehyde dehydrogenase and flagellin-protein results differently expressed in the four strains. ► The expression of these proteins can be considered as cell proteome markers to distinguish each of the four B clausii strains.
