Abstract
⺠The 2-DE proteome of wool was mapped. ⺠Additional wool proteins have been identified by non-gel proteomic means. ⺠Diversity among wool proteins within and between breeds has been identified. ⺠Isobaric labelling of wool proteins has been identified as having potential in the identification of wool quality traits.
