Abstract
⺠The redox system is the most complex adaptative response to living conditions. ⺠GPx, SOD and the protein CO increased in hard conditions whereas PON-1 decreased. ⺠α2-HSG, a negative acute phase protein, decreased in hard living conditions. ⺠Fecal corticosterone and cholesterol increased in hard conditions. ⺠A welfare biomarker profile (GPx, α2-HSG, cholesterol, corticosterone) is proposed.
