Abstract
⺠Low prohibitin 1 increases sensitivity to methionine and choline deficient diet. ⺠Low prohibitin 1 impairs lipid metabolism in hepatocytes by inactivation of AMPK. ⺠Prohibitin 1 deficient mice display increased production of proâinflammatory cytokines. ⺠Depletion of prohibitin 1 increases sensitivity to proâinflammatory aggressions. ⺠Low prohibitin 1 sensitizes splenocytes by deregulation of SHP1 and GSK3β.
