Abstract
Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae (Xoo) is a very important vascular rice pathogen. This represents the first study of Xoo in vivo proteomics identifying 324 proteins expressed during rice infection. Genetic and in planta studies have then identified a new virulence associated factor. This approach represents a powerful method for performing proteomics of phytopathogenic vascular bacteria.234
