Abstract
► Doxorubicin-induced changes in cardiac phosphoproteome were analysed using the perfused heart model. ► 2-DE, phosphospecific staining and mass spectrometry were combined. ► 22 proteins with a significantly changed phosphorylation status were identified. ► Selected results were validated by immunoblotting. ► The results are relevant for doxorubicin-induced energy imbalance and myofibrillar disorganization.
