Abstract
⺠A cell-free proteolytic analysis for retrovirus protease (PRs) was developed. ⺠Amprenavir was identified as a potent XMRV PR inhibitor. ⺠The physical interaction between APV and XMRV PR was delineated. ⺠Several tumor suppressor proteins were revealed to be substrates of XMRV PR.
