Abstract
⺠Five new chromogenic tripodal receptors were synthesized. ⺠Tripodal receptors showed a distinct color change in presence of fluoride. ⺠Easy-to-prepare test kit provides a convenient and reliable detection of fluoride ions in everyday applications. ⺠The fluoride in toothpaste conveniently detect even at low concentration.
