Abstract
- The gate-electrode of an EGOFET is functionalized with ion-selective membranes.
- A selective response towards the biologically relevant ions K+ and Ca2+ is obtained.
- Selective detection of primary ions down to concentration in the μM range possible.
- The selective response is also tested in a fixed ionic background of 150Â mM NaCl.
- Represents a valuable strategy for the realization of low-cost biosensing devices.
