Abstract
⺠α-Sexithiophene (6T) films were deposited on oriented polythiophene (PT) films. ⺠The 6T molecular axis was parallel to the molecular axis of the PT substrate. ⺠Organic photovoltaic (OPV) devices based on the oriented 6T layers were fabricated. ⺠OPV performance increased by 6T molecular orientation management. ⺠Response to polarized light was also observed.
