Abstract
⺠Localized polarons and excitons are instantaneously photogenerated in D-A blends. ⺠The generation of delocalized polarons occurs at the expense of excitons. ⺠The dynamics of localized polarons are unrelated with those of excitons. ⺠Ultrafast quantum interference anti-resonances are photogenerated.
