Abstract
⺠We model optical interference effects within devices for various metal cathodes. ⺠We determine optimum architecture for enhanced current generation. ⺠The small skin-depth of Al results in stronger field intensity in the active layer. ⺠Devices with Ca/Al composite cathode result in improved performance.
