Abstract
⺠Aluminum nanoparticles can be embedded in pentacene films by sequential deposition. ⺠The surface oxide the particles serves as a barrier both for charge trapping/de-trapping. ⺠Organophosphonic acid monolayer at the surface allows additional tuning of the barrier. ⺠Transistor/memory devices based on pentacene/Al-NPs conducting channel can be prepared.
