Abstract
► A new series of dense samples BaCe0.85 − xZrxEr0.15O3-α have been synthesized. ► The ceramic powders BaCe0.85 − xZrxEr0.15O3-α were relatively stable when x≥0.2. ► The x=0.2 sample displayed high chemical stability and acceptable conductivity. ► The conductivities were contributed mainly by proton in wet hydrogen. ► The x=0.2 sample was applied to the ammonia synthesis at atmospheric pressure.
