Abstract
⺠New examples of normal and remote carbene complexes of Ni(II) and Pd(II) prepared. ⺠First examples of pyridylidene complexes in which metal fragments and amino substituents exchange places. ⺠Crystal structure determinations indicate predominant pi-donor effects of the amine-substituent independent of its position. ⺠Valuable bonding information gathered from NMR studies.
