Abstract
⺠New Re(V) complexes starting from a Re(IV) precursor. ⺠Nucleophilic addition of 1-propanol on dpk in presence of rhenium. ⺠B3LYP/LANL2DZ method has proven to be appropriated in reproducing the electronic UV-Vis spectra. ⺠MLMLCT and LMCT have been assigned for bands simulated at the lowest and highenergy parts of the spectrum respectively.
