Abstract
⺠A flexible bridging ligand can adopt various conformations. ⺠This provides means of linking metal clusters in different ways. ⺠The result may be a discrete dimer or a chain polymer. ⺠Examples of both types of complex have been structurally characterized. ⺠The new complexes are also investigated by spectroscopic methods.
