Abstract
► The compound {[Zn(μ-3-bpdb)(3-bpdb)2(H2O)2](ClO4)2 3-bpdb}n (1) has been synthesized and characterized. ► The compound 1 has also been synthesized at micro-size by sonochemical processes. ► The ZnO nanoparticles were obtained by direct calcination of compound 1.
